Hi there...
I'm a Bassist from Southern England. I have been Composing / Playing for many years but am always keen to see what others are doing, and learn new tricks. I use the following gear for most of my compositions:- PC: Pentium4 2.66ghz - 1.5GB DDR Ram - 2 x 160GB ATA133 HDD, 1 x 250GB ATA 133 HDD - FX5200 128MB GFX - 2 x LG 16speed DVD-RW - Composition & MIDI: Reason4 - Live Recording: Reaper v2.3 or WaveLab5 - Sample Editing: WaveLab5 - Music Interface & Favoured FX Unit: Line6 TonePort GX (Gold Bundle) - Main VST FX: Guitar Rig3 or Amplitube2 (X-GEAR) - Guitars: Fender Strat 1988, Lindo Electro-Acoustic - Basses: Aria Pro2 SB900, Washburn Status Series 1000, Swift Fretless Electro-Acoustic - Keyboard: Roland D-10.... Hey UAB...
Tell me about it... Before I picked up my TonePort (about 3 weeks ago) I was using various Combinations to get a half decent sound... My PreAmp was a Behringer V-Amp2 into Guitar Rig 3, or Amplitube 2 (X-GEAR), or various other VST FX. Since the TonePort, I rarely use anything else!! - and my fingers and forearms ache from over-playing, I enjoy it that much!! - PLUS my Bass sound has never ever sounded better Studio-wise!! If you're interested, I have been sorting out Tones for the TonePort downloaded and Edited from Line6's Site. Drop me a line if you want them Uploaded..... I've done about 800 so far....
