Hi I'm Carol Cunningham. I'm a 54 year old grandma who has been writing and singing songs since well for a really long time. I have been messing around with a Fostex Mr 8 digital recorder. I want to really record quality songs at home.

I have tons of questions. I have a us122 interface and I've tried to hook it up on the computer. but I don't know how to operate it at all. Can you give me some pointers?

The best advice I can give anyone is to serious read the manuals. I hate instructions and manuals and such for almost everything, but I assure you that you will definitely save time by reading them thoroughly.

The second best advice I can give is to be specific when you ask questions. When people ask for general tips with recording, it's similar to saying "Did you see that one thing at Walmart?". Tell us what you did and tell us what is happening and then we'll be able to help much more thoroughly.
