Post DJ with new 8 track

reconstructing sound is what I love to do. Hi, everyone. I'm a DJ with a new 8 track wondering how to best use it. I'm here hoping someone is familiar with the Tascam DP02

Welcome to the forum! Don't be shy about posting, asking questions, or tossing a mix in Bash This Recording.

Sorry for the late welcome. I've been way overbooked with recording gigs and a trip to Chicago.

You may want to check the standalone recorder forum.

okay
I am learning the Tascam DP02 (40gb HDD and a CDBURNER awsome)
I have copied and pasted, recorded and done a master from my mixes; have sampled out movie soundtracks and remixed the remixes of my mixes.

I have yet to try to record while I play other tracks, after I cut and paste them to those tracks, all the while I'm mixing on the turntables.

SO any ideas on how to maximize on the DP02

THANX,
DJ TateQUIETO

Not a clue. Then again, this is one of those "what did you learn in school today" questions. If a person asked me how to "maximize" Cubase SX3 I wouldn't have a clue what to tell them.

and so is life; it's like a bowl of cherries . . . you've got to be careful not to choke of the pits.
The DP02 has all of my imagination like before I figured out how to record and use it as a DJ no thanks to the Manual (so bland so usual)

and I will continue to discover this magnificent machine. but as I do while I learn I am sure that I am not using its 100% potential

Thanx
