First of all, hey guys and girls, imnew here and just wanted to say whats up. This might be a topic on here so dont flame me. I have Cubase LE4 and Presonus Firestudio. I am hacing a big problem recording drums. It seems that every mic (7 inputs) are recording the same thing, same mix. It also seems everything is coming out of the first two inputs and nothing else. For example, the kick drum mic was a first in the hole in the kick and then moved out right in front of it and you could barely hear it from that very input when played back. If anyone has any experience recording quality frums using these programs, the help is much appreciated.

I find it ironic that "flaming" refers to certain femine-like behavior for homosexual dudes and also refers to assholes on forums. I can't say I'm huge fan of the first kind of flaming and I definitely do not tolerate the second kind. Chill out, dude. You'll be treated like a human being around here. Quote:
Take a look at the mixer in Cubase. At the top of each channel there is an input and an output. The output should be routed to either a bus or a stereo mixer. The input is a specific channel from your audio interface. Make sure that each audio interface output is routed into the proper channel in your recording software. That should fix it. Brandon
