Default Click Track Questions

Hi All,

Complete novice to this! Actually I am drummer who found you whilst searching for some advice on clicktracks! So I thought I'd join and learn. I was interested to determine whether there was bespoke software or you could download prepared clicktracks to songs which take account of differing time sequences in the songs or was it simply a question of operating of a steady BPM throughout? I think I need the click to keep me sweet and also the rest of the band. Any thoughts to help me?

M

Default Re: Click Track Questions

Cubase has a featured called a "tempo track" which lets you do whatever you want. A song can ramp from 100bpm to 250bpm or anything between anytime you want.

I've taken some songs and started them at 80 and ended them at 100 and the tune just ramps in a linear fashion. It worked well for that song. Most of the time I do stay on the same tempo.
