Default Cheers!

Well . . .this is kind of awkward . . .ahem . . .Hi . . .my name is Chris, I like long walks on the beach, sunsets, chicks who dig Harleys . . . What? That's not what you want to hear! Fine then!

Just found this forum and joined to educate myself on home recording. Other than messing around with some freeware (Krystal) and my guitar plugged into my desktop with a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter a couple years ago, I have NO experience recording. I play guitar in a band, we recorded one cd, but did so at a studio.

Let me say something right up front - I am tooootally not technology savvy. Mainly because I don't really care how things work, I just want them to work. So it is easy to talk over my head, and frankly that is what most articles I have found on recording wind up doing. So I am hoping this forum will give me the opporunity to ask questions so I can get this stuff "dumbed down" for a guy like me! Looking forward to recording school!

Cheers,

Chris
