Best Audio Interface??

I've been looking at the Fireface 800; the Motou 896 mk3 and the Mackie Onyx 1200F.

I'm looking for a ****er sound than I've been getting with my Yamaha 02Rv.2 Does anyone have any suggestions?

I've found that the gear is a tiny part of the equation. Can you toss a mix in Bash This Recording? This will help us indentify whether gear is the answer or not.
