Default Chasing dreams

The instruments on this track were recorded about ten yrs ago, live through a 12 channel desk onto a recordable cd. The band fell to bits not long after and the vocals and trumpets were finally added about 2 yrs ago. The guy who mixed it used a bit too much compression for my liking but here's the song anyway. It was written about 15 yrs ago for someone I know who was leaving the country to seek 'fame and fortune'.
I like the song a lot but the recording of it is not great. I put this down to the way it was recorded initially.
Say what you think but don't get too wrapped up in the mix.
