On December 9-12, 2008, Delbert McClinton will be the guest artist at MPI -- Music Producers Institute -- a four-day studio clinic in Nashville where students can observe the production side of recording, from start to finish.
This special MPI clinic is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to observe Grammy-winning Texas blues master Delbert McClinton recording in the Sound Emporium's "A" Room, one of his favorite tracking rooms, in Nashville, TN. You'll see the entire record-making process, from pre-production and tracking, to overdubbing, mixing and mastering.
Founded by Grammy-winning producer Steve Fishell, MPI allows attendees the opportunity to observe real-world, master-level sessions with award-winning singers, musicians and engineers at the helm.
