Anyone doing the myspace record deal contest

If Facebook ever picks up on this and implements a bonafide capability for bands to promote themselves, then MySpace will really be hurting.

I've told this to several people. Bands can already have profiles on Facebook; if they'd let them upload music in the same way as MySpace, I think MySpace would go under in about a week.

Totally agree. Personally I prefer Facebook. Great networking and overall better feeling. I've never liked MySpace, always found it cold and boring.
Facebook/Twitter/Blog will be a good way to go.

You can already upload music, but the player is small and at the bottom of the page. You can't add people either, so it's pointless as far as promotion goes.

I'd like to consider myself good at coming up with tricks for promotion, but I just can't figure it out with Facebook. x]

Mhsoace is really going to die after the whole scam thing takes of people an artists are freaking because the contest is appearntly rigged. I can post the website link if anyone is interested.
