vsts and samples..please help
Hi all,
I have just started using cubase. just wanted to know what all plug-ins does it support? Or how to determine a software's compatibility with cubase?  also, how to trigger wave samples (eg. a kick sample) through a controller keyboard? Thanks.

Hi
I've yet to come across a plugin which isnt compatible with cubase SX3. The only thing you might want to be careful about is plugins made by rival companies to steinberg (ie companies with their own sequencing/recording software) but often these work aswell. Often it says what it is compatible with on the box, if ur still unsure email the manufacturer they usually reply quickly

If it is Cubase 4, word is that only VST plug ins are supported and not Direct X. Not a problem for me, as there are ample VST free stuff out there, but it did not make long time users who had built up a small cache of DX stuff happy when they upgraded.
