That's quite impressive that you are acheiving all that with 2GB Ram. Surely I should be able to do the same with 4GB (well 3.5 on XP) I'm considering getting a new soundcard and with that converting from Cubase to Protools but I don't think I have the time and patience to learn a new DAW. One thing I would like to say going back to the sound perception is that there is a lot to be said for what can also be "felt" sonically. And this is also enchanced by higher frequencies. It's not just our ears that are effected by sound ...... I hope you get what I'm saying even if it sounds alittle strange....? |

I'm attempting to record at these ranges because I like the clarity and sound acheived through my speaker system. I'm well aware that for CD purposes 44khz is enough but I don't see the harm of going higher if I can do it with out too much hassle... You don't sound much of a believer in anything above 48khz...? |
