| Am using a Compaq with surround sound card. I think it is 7.1. I have experimented and got it to work. I use CubaSE SX. I had a bit of trouble getting the assignment of the tracks but finally got it done. I have 5.1 wave files for "In the Air Tonite" by Phil Collins and it sounds awesome. There is no center channel on it. I have several other songs that are all in 5.1 and they do have the center channel. I was just wondering if I was to record a band and try a 5.1 mix, would I have to assign more than one track to say a right rear channel? Would I use the identical assignment of the tracks I wanted to go there? |
