A Soft-eLicenser method has not been found.

I need some help. I decided to retry Cubase LE4. I have:
Updated Cubase LE4 to 4.1.2, build 851
Updated the Syncrosoft License Control Center to 5.4.10.4
Updated HalionOne Player to 1.1.0

During all this installing and updating, the following HSB (Halion Sound Bank) content files were installed:

Installed with Cubase 4LE
Essential_Content
Essential_Set_1

Installed with HalionOne update
GM_Drum_Content
GM_Drum_Set_1
GM_Sound_Content
GM_Sound_Set_1
Studio_Content
Studio_Drum_Content
Studio_Set_1
Studio_Set_2

When I launch Cubase, I get the error message, "A Soft-eLicenser method has not been found." 8 times in a row, which I assume is in response to the HalionOne update. The documentation for the HalionOne update states that with Cubase 4(LE/SE/Studio), Sequel 2, and Nuendo, HalionOne becomes a standalone program and HSB content and VST content native to HalionOne are compatible across this family of software. All of the listed content work in Sequel 2, but not in CUbase 4LE. Does anyone know what this error means and how to rectify it? Thanks in advance for your help

Persistence pays off! I discovered that there were 3 updates to the OEM Halion Player that is incorporated into into Cubase 4 LE. After updating all the files, then deleting the preference folder, viola! All the error message went away and all the content appeared! Boy do i love troubleshooting!

Hi,kevmove2, will you explain it to me clearly about what you did in deleting the preference folder,viola? i can not understand it from your post message..this is about the problem issue regarding SOFT eLICENSER METHOD HAS NOT BEEN FOUND.. i search that folder but i can not find it, help me please/..thanks in advance, its been a long time that i'm sufferring this problem, and untill now, when i launch cubase Le4,and still i get this error " soft eLicenser mehod has not been found... or anybody else want to explain to me, about what kevmove2 did to solve the problem issue"soft eLicenser method has not been found

It seems he simply updated the thing and removed the "Preferences" folder. Unfortunately, with just Cubase LE (not LE4 and no Halion) I can't seem to find a preferences folder.

Esqalim, are you seeing a "Preferences" folder? I'm assuming that if you delete it, Cubase will be "rebuild" it's preferences when you open it up. This does take a leap of faith. If it were me, I'd simply rename the folder PreferencesX or something and then restart Cubase.
