Default Simple question needs simple answer

Hi, I have just recorded a couple of tracks with a guy who has a small studio which uses cubase. While i loved the raw songs I am really unhappy with the mixes he has done and want to take all the tracks, info and versions of the songs elsewhere.
My question is what should I get off him to enable me to give it to someone else with cubase and be able to mix everything again? Should i take a thumbdrive? I am assuming it won't be put on a cd but I would like to know what to ask for so i definitly get my songs in the most user friendly format.
Thanks for your help.

Probably the most foolproof way would be to have him reset the mixer so that all levels are at zero, no effects or plugins anywhere. Then have him solo and export each track individually. If it's a mono track export it as mono, if it is a stereo track export it as stereo. Make sure the locators are set to include the entire piece and then don't move them. This way all the tracks will start at the same time and be the same length. Export at the sample rate and bit depth that they were recorded at.

Get .wav files of all the tracks. I'd guess get midi files of any midi tracks as well. These you can pretty much hand to anyone on just about any DAW and they can work on them.

Get anything and everything you can Cubase-related of the song files. I am not at the studio right now to dive in and tell you specifics though. I'll be willing to bet someone else here will point out what you need much more clearly.

A thumbdrive will work. Just make sure to have more than enough space. It prolly won't take it all, but see if you can leave yourself like 500MG of open room per song to be safe. Someone else may be able to give you much more accurate numbers than this. Just a best guess here for me.

Finding out the sample and bit rates might be helpful as well. 16 bit/44.1khz or 24bit/44.1 or 48khz. Whatever it may be.

If you have a hard time finding anyone to mix it, I'll see if I have any free time coming up soon. Just PM me if needed. I use Cubase.

Have him bounce the individual tracks, as Freddy suggested, from 0:00, not from the position of their entrance, trying to keep track of their location within the song. This will save the next person who works on it an amazing amount of hassle.
