I can't find this anywhere - how can I save tracks of a multi-track project to CD or DVD as wavs without having to bounce them individually . Note some of these tracks might have several drop ins. Cheers, Ross Last edited by Saints; 10-29-2009 at 12:04 AM. Reason: missed a word |

Sorry, what's a drop in? The wav files that you create in cubase are in your audio folder where your project is saved. Your talking about making an audio CD? If so you would Export audio (on file menu) and make a wav file for each song then get a good red book burning software.

A drop in is when you replace part of a track that isn't up to scratch so in ref to my OP is there a way of exporting a track of several drop ins as a wavfile to CD without going through the bounce process e.g. highlight the track in the project window and save to CD or equivalent as data wavs? It's so I can make safety copies of tracks. Cheers, Ross Last edited by Saints; 10-29-2009 at 02:21 AM. Reason: missed word |

Why are you wanting to use a CD? So your just wanting to use a CD like a hard drive or you want it to play in the car? Are you thinking of an audio mixdown as the bounce process? File menu - export - audio mixdown Audio mixdown just takes a second and I think is what you're wanting. Maybe you could export right to a cd but I would still export to the hard drive and burn it to CD later.

I was just about to ask this same question when I say this thread. I have Cubase SX3 and want to burn my whole session to a CD or DVD. I would just like to have a physical disc with all my tracks on it. It would also be awesome to be able to open these tracks in any audio program, if possible. Thanks!

If you want to save your project on to dvd, the the above advice tells you how, make sure your audio, image. edit, cpr files are all in the same project file and simply burn a data dvd of that. The limitations on playback would depend on bit depth and sampling rate, ie if the wav tracks are recorded 24bit 96khz your playback program would need to support this. If wavs are recorded 16 bit 44.1 khz then any audio software should play them. hope this helps paul Last edited by paulwalshmusic; 11-11-2009 at 12:27 PM. |
