It sounds like you are trying to do two things:
1. Export to MP3 - I think you have to buy an upgrade plug in to get MP3 export. I just pump mine out to wave and use my free Creative Media source to convert to MP3. 2. The drum part might be trickier. You might have to convert it to wav first and bring it back into your project, but you shouldn't have to. Can anyone else help out with the midi problem?

I've never worked with midi drums but I know what you are trying to do. Since Cubase's export function is audio only, you will have to something a little tricky.
You need to manualy record an audio track by capturing the audio out of either the EZ drummer or midi track program. I'm not sure which one it is, I think the midi out is going to EZdrummer, right? well, wherever the sound is coming from, solo it. Take the output of your audio interface back around as an input and record that. If you have a smaller interface with only 1 main output, you might not be able to hear it being recorded, just set the levels, record and play it back to see if it's ok sounding. If you have a FP10, or Firestudio, route it to one of the headphone mixes or bus outs. |
