Reloaded SX3 won't play cprs.
After enjoying a seamless SX3 experience on my laptop with XP, the laptop died.
I have aquired a desk top that has XP Pro, reistalled SX3, and when I try to load cpr's, SX3 freezes or files load and play visually stagered with no sound. XP Pro comes with SP3. The desk top has Pentium 4/1.99GHz proccessor, 40 gig HD, 2gig ram...More or less what I had on the laptop. Also have 300 gig external HD.
My cprs are on the external saved from the laptop. Is this an XP pro concern? A SP3 concern?
Can anyone help?

How does it work on new projects?
Was there stuff used in the old projects that isn't installed on the new machine?
I sometimes have problems loading a complex project and SX3 just disappears but then it loads the second time.
I would make sure anything that an old project would try to load works good on the new machine to try and find the problem.

Got it running!
Turned out I had the wrong ASIO connected and outputs not set up properly.
Back to recording...YES!
