Default Recording 2 tracks live into Cubase SX - help with setup

Its been a while since I used Cubase as when I last used it my pC at the time could hardly handle the processing so I had stopped using it and moved onto other lighter apps.
Having now returned with a more powerful system, I dug out my old copy of CUbase SX 1.3 and have been arranging some track mixes.

Importing Reason etc was no problem, getting addictive drums to work etc I figured it out pretty much.

My problem is now I have setup to record a guitar part straight into CUbase SX.
I have a DI output and a MIC'd output going to my hardware mixer.
I then have these channels hooked upto my Delta 1010's inputs (9 & 11).
What I'm trying to do is capture the DI and MIC'd recordings on seperate tracks in one take (or however many it takes, but you get what I mean) rather than doing 2 seperate takes for the DI & the MIC'd recording.

SO I open the CUbase software console to setup the inputs for the Audio tracks and all I see is IN1 & IN2. Thats it. I thought I'd see a range of 1-8 (or 1-4 for stereo) due to my Delta 1010 being able to have 8 inputs.
SOmething I'm missing here?

The Delta 1010 shows I am getting input signals.

AFAIK it should be possible to multitrack record LIVE into CUbase so any pointers as to what I'm doing wrong appreciated.

Probably something stupid that I missed.

Ok nm, I think I found the solution.

Open Devices > VST Inputs.

I didi look around for the soundcard preferences but I wouldn't have thought to look at VST inputs for the hardware.
