Hello I need help. I am trying to record my guitar with a direct signal and my amp at the same time using a powered di. I cannot get both inputs to show on different tracks though. If I use a stereo track I get input one on the left side and input 2 on the right. If I use a mono signal with 2 different tracks, I can only get the direct signal on both tracks, and not the input from the amp. How do I go about routing this properly? I need to route the first input to one track and the second input to the other.

Set up mono input bus's in VST connections (on the device menu) You may have to delete your stereo bus to do this because once an input can only be used once. So you could save your current setting as a preset in VSTconnections and make another one for a mono setup, then switch between them with a mouse click. Then you should be able to record two mono tracks at the same time.
