presonus firestudio project and Cubase LE4

hi

i own a firestudio project (which came with CUbase LE 4 for recording software) and for some reason whenever i record i can only record from input number one one the firestudio project (if i plug into #2-8 i dont get any input signal)

i got help with this before but then i lost my settings but i know its a software issue....help!!!!!

Have you setup the input busses for 2-8? Click on F4 and click "inputs".

When you want to record input 3, for example, you must create a new track in Cubase and select input #3 as the input source (which will only show up after you've created the busses in F4).

no i have not done that yet
ill do that as soon as i have my recorder with me
do i want to make stereo inputs or mono?

It doesn't matter. If you create stereo input busses, you'll have to select "left" or "right" to designate between the two when setting the input of your track. If you use mono busses, you can simply select that one particular input.
