mmx 8 came with LE 1.10.
Trying to lay in an audio track from my sr 16, then practice a bass line along with the drum track before recoring it using a tech 21 bass driver into the mixer. Is the issue that I am trying to play "live" by monitoring input? can't hear audio without latency. have set VST multitrack and asio driver up correctly according to in full duplex mode. ALESIS says the input monitor button is not to be depressed in LE to avoid feedback. I have also patched the RCA jacks as reccomended by ALESIS. Any idea's? (maybe I'm just an old analog guy......) |

Thanks Gentlemen.
All instruments are input directy to the mixer. RCA in/out are jumpered according to instruction. Now, with powered monitors and the ASIO driver set to USB audio CODEC for direct sound in and out I seem to have much better performance. Brandon - I don't find a hard setting for latency - but it is set to low in the driver. 5 disk buffers and 256KB size. Clock is internal, ASIO driver is released in the background. Sync reference is input, card options are full duplex and start input first both selected. Is this optimal? |
