Default A Nice Easy One For You - panning?

Here's my little predicament;

I've recorded my guitar in mono, and cannot workout how to pan it.
It can only pan left.

this would be fine it i had two left speakers.. but yeah, can someone tell how i can pan to the right please

Cheers,
Gav

Sounds like maybe you actually set up a stereo audio track and then recorded using just one input which was recorded to the left side of the stereo track. If that's the case then you would only be able to pan left as the right side is nothing but silence and as you panned towards the right the left side would simply get quieter.

If you have recorded to stereo then simply convert the sample to mono. I'd use Sound Forge but I'm sure Cubase can do it. I'm just too lazy to have gone and looked for it One another note, all of this won't count for much if you're mixing to stereo on only one speaker. There will be a lot you can't hear and hence, can't mix.
