Default Multiple track DJ recording, is this possible?!

I have a basic set up of:

PC >
INTERNAL SOUND CARD (E-MU 0404) >
DEX (Technics 1210's and a Stanton mixer)

Is it possible to record the audio from each individual turntable on to two separate stereo tracks in cubase simultaneously?

Cheers

P.S 1st post so go easy on me!

If you have a stereo output on each turntable and two inputs on your sound card, yes its possible. Yr recording two seperate sources if i understand you correctly. So youll need to set up two stereo input busses in cubase.

This is as simple as it gets and its exactly what a daw is deigned to do.

Cheers willjrockstar

I dint mention that my sound card only has one input click here for details.

Also the "Decks" setup consists of each turntable channelled into the Stanton mixer. Therefore having a master out from the Stanton mixer has sound coming from both turntables.

If i was to add an additional analog mixer to the setup

PC >
INTERNAL SOUND CARD (E-MU 0404) >
8 CHANNEL ANALOG MIXER >
"DECKS" (Technics 1210s and Stanton mixer)

Will the simultaneous multitrack stereo recording be possible?

Actually you have two inputs. Two stereo inputs with capability for more with spdif and the other. I THINK. The card overview just says two analog inputs.
In all actuality what you have is four mono inputs. So you could record four mono devices at once and even more with the spdif but dont worry about that right now.

Really all you have to do is plug the turn tables right into the soundcard.
If you must use the mixer, it will have to have two stereo outputs. If it does i dont see them.
