just go up to the timeline on your project window where it shows your H:M:S or beats or bars, sorry for the lack of proper terminology, but if you mouseover this you should get a pencil which will allow you to set your left and right locators...click once and then just drag the left locator to the very beginning of your tracks and the right to the very end and you're good to go.

On LE there is a blue line inside the timeline with little blue triangles hooked to each end. Just click and drag the triangles. This is your "zone select" so to speak. If you use the loop button, this is the area that will loop. If you're exporting audio or doing a mixdown, this zone is what will be processed.

sometimes the blue line isn't set so if you mouseover the top half of the timeline your arrow will turn into a pencil (you don't need to click the pencil tool up in the toolbar) and you can just click to get the triangle to appear, then mouseover the triangle for a little hand that will allow you to drag the triangle apart in either direction to set your locators...

you may be familiar with clicking the bottom half of the timeline to place the cursor so just move your mouse up a little higher to get your pencil. once you start dragging the area b/n the locators should be blue..if you drag the wrong way it will be red.

that probably sound a lot more convoluted than it really is...i'm a bad explainer
