Midi playback Cubase LE 4

Good Afternoon all,

I have just setup Cubase LE 4 on my PC with the following configutarion.

Windows XP Pro
Soundbalster X-Fi Pro Sound Card
UM-1EX USB Midi Adapter

Everything is working fine apart from midi playback. If I record a drum track off the keyboard and play it back it works fine if the Midi output device is the keyboard.

However, I don't want to hear the drums back through the keyboard, I want to hear them through the speakers I have connected to the PC. I can hear my guitar tracks fine, however if I select Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth (in the Control Panel and Cubase settings), I cant hear the midi track I have recorded.

I downloaded a midi track off the net and played it through Windows Media Player and that worked fine throught the speakers so I am assuming it is something I have configured incorrectly in Cubase.

Any ideas?
