When i record in cubase 3 (audio or midi) i get pops and crackles when playing it back. There isn't anything there before recording. I use an external mixer but have tryed recording into sound forge the same way i would in cubase ane there is no pops. I have played around with latency's and other settings but nothing seems to work. My computer has been formatted and is powerfull enough to run these programs; 3 ghz 2 gb ram 200 gb hard drive Is this a cubase problem? Would a graphics card effect anything? Cheers |

this worked for me there is a setting that you can adjust the priority of the audio and set a level from 2-6 i think and that seemed to stop the problem, its in with the asio settings in cubase. It is in the advanced section. Cheers |
