I changed my ASIO driver to DirectX full duplex then back to the Lambda driver (as the read me file suggested) and the playback works on the tutorial files, but not on the ones that I recorded. Just and update. Thanks

I just went to "Save as" , labled the file. Then I saved the file. I can see the waveform, when I play the track I can see vu movement on the channel, but no output. It seems as if there is something in the patching to the output that is a problem. I have switched the Lambda to windows full duplex and back again under Devices/Device set up and have gone to Devices/VST connections and removed and set up the input/outputs again. I figure that I am doing something wrong but I cannot figure out where my mistake is. I was trying to get through the Tutorial 1 about getting started by making a recording using a single track. Thanks for the reply. |

I went to my Pool for that recording and I clicked on the wave form and it started playing, but without any effects. I will search further and see if I can find out what is going on. Eather this is the most confusing program or I do not have it set up correctly. I followed the set up portion of the program, but I can't help but feel that something is not quite there. Thanks again |

I have an Omega and when I experienced seeing meters moving with no audio it was usually a driver problem. I was also going to ask you about your monitor knob setting. But now you say you can hear a saved file from the pool, so I'm at a loss for ideas... Was this a midi file or vocal part or what? What effects did you use? Turn off all VST plugins on that track and see if it plays. Just grasping at straws....

This was a guitar part that I opened as an audio track. I tried turning off the VST plug ins, and still got nothing from the output. I am almost sure that I am dealing with a patch point between the track and the output. Even thought I did set those things up again to see if it was a problem. I will continue to work with this and se if I can fugure it out. Thanks for the reply.

If your meters in your stereo out are doing something, but you aren't hearing it, it's most likely your output routing. In Cubase SX3, this is F4. Not sure about what you are running. Brandon |
