Default Re: How do i record multiple tracks using Cubase Le 4?

OK, everyone calm down...

You are talking about the Alesis Multimix 8?

Quote:
8–channel mixer featuring next–generation DICE II FireWire technology, low–noise analog electronics, 100 studio–grade 28–bit digital effects, and rock–solid construction
Compact, affordable 8–channel analog mixer and multi–channel FireWire audio computer interface
10 direct outputs for recording and 2 return inputs for monitoring
Go to Cubase Devices>Device Setup> VST Connections> Input Channels..You will need to create 10 mono channels. ready? MONO1, MONO2, MONO3, etc.

Then make a few stereo channels like STEREO 1-2, STEREO 3-4.

Make sure you have a stereo OUTPUT set up as well.

Now when you open a new audio track you will be able to select the desired input channel from your mixer.
