Hi, I am new to Cubase and i have a problem recording, I connect my KORG X50 (via the USB 2.0) to Cubase Studio 4. I have downloaded the patch for the X50 and installed all the drivers, software ect. that came with the X50 but when i play I hear no sound. I have selected X50 to input and X50 (which is the sound bank) to output. The only time i hear sound is when using MS GW Wavetable which is Windows internal rubbish. Please help |

You mean you're using the X50 as a soundcard? Can you hear anything through it when it's not connected to the computer?

Oh I get you - in that case you should set the vst as your track's output device (in a midi track). First of all, you'll have to open the vst devices window and load the X50 vst into the project.
