Scotsman in Ireland says hello! I need help! I did a little bit of recording using an old inherited PC, Cubase LE in conjunction with a ZOOM Au2.1 (USB'd to my computer, monitoring with headphones from ZOOM pedal), a whole bunch of other guitar stomp boxes, a BOSS MICRO BR linked (for microphone use, additional effects). I upgraded my computer,Vista, only to fid I That my Cubase Le was not compatible! I have got my hands on Cubase Le 4, on E-bay, and want to set up a similar system. I can't get it to work!! Help ! Can I get my old ZOOM pedal working ? If not what "interface" do I need to connect all my gear; record and monitor with low latency; and what's the set up PC/ Cubase LE? |

For us to help you, you are going to have to be a bit more specific about the problem you are having. What exactly is not happening. Are you getting an error message? Have you registered the product yet? Did you enter your activation code? There are so many places that a problem could occur, but you haven't shared what problem you are having.

I'm new to Cubase, just bought a Presonus Firebox interface with Cubase LE. I'm trying to hook my older MIDI keyboard and sound module up. I followed instructions on Cubase manual. I select MIDI instrument in Cubase and hear sounds when I use Halion, but no sounds from my external module. Also, when I use Halion, it plays and seems to record fine, but when I play back the midi track, the notes are all scrambled and turn out nothing like I played, it's out of timing etc. What is going on and have I missed steps in the setup process? Help please! -Brian |

Hey. Thanks for the replies to my post. Yes, I was very vague about what the problem was, it was I/O set up and how and where in Vista I set recording/play priorities. Anyway after a lot of fiddling in Vista and Cubase LE4 device set-up I've got it working ( I don't really know how, and don't ask me to do it again!) Cheers |
