Smile Hello.. cubase & tabs

Hey,
I'm just getting started with cubase.. Till now I've been working with guitar pro, and am very fond of the Tabbings system.. I was wondering if there some kind of plugin so I can write MIDI with TABS instead of.. well pressing the keyboard with the mouse.

thanks in advance.

Not to my knowledge. The good news is that Guitar Pro will export to midi so you can do your tabs there, export to midi, then bring the MIDI into Cubase.

Tab is not a complete notation. It's too ambiguous on its own to convert strictly to standard notation and therefore to specific MIDI instruction.

^Guitar Pro seem to get over this problem quite easily though..

And yes, I actually found out you can import GP tabs into Cubase after I wrote that, but thank you

I just hoped I can do this without the usage of two programs.

Nope - Guitar pro has to be your translator. I use it all the time when I can't find a song I want that has a midi version out there. It is a great learning tool.
