Firestudio and Cubase LE4 problems

Hi guys,
I knew i'd have to come crawling on my knees begging for youe expert advice.
I only hope my problems are easy to fix.
In the Device setup window, I chose PreSonus FireStudio as my asio Driver. Then when I hilite it in the Devices window on the left side and I try to open Control Panel....It won't open. I have tried everything.
Another thing...I can't seem to figure out how to record more than one track at a time. I can monitor sound from 4 different tracks and they sound good, but when I hit record, only the instrument in the first channel gets recorded.

Not sure about the devices issue. I am at work and away from my system. As far as the record, are you able to record-enable all four track before you start the transport? If not, make sure each track is assigned to a different input from your Firestudio. I have the Presonus Inspire, which only has two inputs, and when I had that problem, both tracks were pointed to input one. It should be on the channel setup for that track.

Thanks for the response uab9253. I just got off the phone with Presonus tech. They helped me with all my issues and everything seems to be working as it should.

Hi Brandon,
The Control Panel still won't open. But i don't think I need it to. Since I can adjust sample rate/buffer size thru the FireControl.
The other problems I had with recording issues was user ignorance.
I just needed to setup the inputs and outputs correctly.

I'm just amazed that you were actually able to speak to someone at Presonus. The one time I called them (well withing normal business hours coast to coast) all I got was interminable ringing - not even a voice menu. Glad to hear you got it all squared away.

I needed to contact Presonus again this morning about updating the Faderport. The phone rang for a couple of minutes, but someone answered and helped me again. So far, I can say nothing bad about Presonus.
