Default FirePod + Cubase input recognation issues

Hey all. So, i have a PreSonus FirePod that i use as my interface for Cubase. The FirePod has 8 inputs + 2 additional, but when i go to the Devices menu and try "setting up my inputs", it only shows:

Input 1 (mono) - input 1/2 left
Input 2 (mono) - input 1/2 right
Input 3 (mono) - input 3/4 left
Input 4 (mono) - input 3/4 right

If i try to add a BUS, it won't let me. However, when i view Device Setup and i look at the PreSonus device, it shows all 8 inputs as available and active. It used to be that i would additionally see:

Input 5 (mono) - input 5/6 left
Input 6 (mono) - input 5/6 right
Input 7 (mono) - input 7/8 left
Input 8 (mono) - input 7/8 right

I'm sure it's some configuration issue that i'm missing, but i can't figure it out. Please help.

What software are you working with? If I am not mistaken they screwed a few things up in Cubase LE 1.09 so you might want to get the latest from them:

This is strange because a mono input can't be both 1 and 2. It has to be one or the other. A stereo input would be 1/2.

i resolved my own issue, actually. Cubase SE 3.0.3 patch 658 apparently only allows 4 buses. i think that an older version of Cubase SE 3.0.3 allowed more than 4 buses which is where i was setting 1 mono channel per bus. With this version of Cubase, because only 4 buses are configurable, i had to set each bus up in stereo (i.e. - channels 1 and 2 go to bus 1, channels 3 and 4 go to bus 2, etc.). this enables me to set up all of my 8 inputs. I can then simultaneously record 8 mono tracks by setting the inputs of the channels to: Bus 1 - Left (channel 1), Bus 1 - Right (channel 2), Bus 2 - Left (channel 3), etc.

Hope this helps anyone else that sees this issue.
