Default Exporting Question

Hi..I've got a strange problem happening here, I need some help with..
While exporting a wave file of my mix, it seems to give me a boost at the 2k level, way to "tinny", I don't seem to have had this problem before, what am I doing wrong?

Are you saying that if you play the wav file you just rendered in Windows Media Player, it doesn't sound exactly like that mix in Cubase did?

No, If I mix down to two tracks , and then just solo that track in cubase, it has that 2k boost.

Well, my gut says that this is physically impossible and something must be causing it. For troubleshooting purposes, does the wav file sound different in Media Player?
