What version of cubase? I have MP3 available as an export option in SX3 and didn't do anything on purpose to get it there. You may need MP3 codecs perhaps? Hopefully someone else can tell you for sure. And what exact menu commands are you using? First I select a range of audio, then go File->Export->Audio Mixdown... (or something like that...) |

I would just download Razorlame and use that to convert your rendered wav files to mp3 and save yourself the trouble. Brandon |

I have a vague recollection that exporting to MP3 requires registration of your product with Steinberg. Many manufacturers do this to protect themselves, since MP3 encoding specifications are patented and it helps manufacturers to keep track of distribution in case the patent holders decide to charge for it.
