An Error Occurred during the export

thats the error message i get

anyone know why i'm getting that

this happened to me too and it drove me crazy!

what you need to do is check the bar above your tracks, where you drag the arrows and select how much audio you want to export, and make sure its BLUE and not RED. If it's red, then it doesn't work for whatever reason. The arrows need to be pointing TOWARDS each other (that makes the highlighted sections of the bar blue) and not away from each other (making it red).

Put another way =
Cubase will only export what is between the left and right locators. You can see and set the locators value in the info bar and on the transport, to the left. I had that same problem when I first started. The good thing is that you can set your locators, for example to 00:05:000 to 03:13:000 and eliminate the count in that was in the first 5 seconds as well as all the other noise after the song ends at 3:13. Very handy, but not intuitive the first time you go to use it.

im exporting processed indvidual tracks so i can turn of some effects ect and save some processing power on my computer which is maxed out. but the mixdown is not in time with the rest of the music even tho the image looks like it is . argggggg! iv spent days trying to sort it out ....... anybody got a clue whats going on?
