In dire need of help

hello all ,let me just start by saying i am a noob to recording
anyways my problem is when i record or want to playback through my pa mixer i get sound to come trought i am using a usb hook up from my line on on mixer to comp al i get is sound from my comp but the comp still picks up what is going trough the mixer.i have tried so many things and i know its somthing simple but its aparently not simple for me lol

i fixed problem.
now the only problem i have is when i go to record bass on track its recording drums again how do i prevent this problem
i am recording all through my mixer via a usb line in line out i want to beable to here drums when i record bass but not record drums again
