delay in audio output
hey all,
i have a problem with my set in the way that i get a delay from me playing on my guitar to being able to hear it throw my monitors, by about a second. my set up is: cubase sx3, with a lin6 ux1 interface. in to a laptop. i believe this due to my sound card being crap? i was just wondering what solutions there are for me to get rid of this? Thanks

Are you using the Line 6 UX1 as your audio interface output? If so, just turn the latency down. If you are using a stock soundcard as the output, that's your problem. You'll need a low latency audio interface.

cheers mate,
yep that got it. i also get cut outs from my audio output, i dont always get a a perfect sound it likes to click, cut out and give me a bit of white noise every now and then. have you got any tips for this please dude?
