So I seem to have lost the dvd that come with my copy of Cuebase LE 4. I am recording on a brand new Macbook Pro 2.4 ghz and i expect to have some real great experiences with ym machine now that i upgraded the computer situation. HOWEVER... I have a Presonus Firestudio project. I am using 2 condenser microphones to record an acoustic guitar using the three to one rule and it sound great except i would like to record each mic as a separate stereo track. when i record now, the first interface input lets call it mic 1, is stereo right and mic 2(input 2) is stereo left. this creates a different sound then i am looking for and i would like to record each mic as an individual stereo track. so heres what i did. i created 2 mono tracks. mono track 1 recording from input one, and outputting stereo (perfect) mono track 2 recording from input 2 and outputting stereo. also perfect now when i go to record... this is where it gets weird. only the track that i had highlighted records! i cannot seem to find a way to simultaneously record on two separate tracks. HOW DO I FIX THIS??!! please help, dan |
