Cubase and Tascam US-1641 Monitoring?

Hey everyone, I just got the Tascam US-1641 and am running it with Cubase 5. I was wondering how you are able to monitor what is being recorded through the device. If I hook up my monitor, nothing comes out of it. Nothing comes out of the headphone jack either. When I have my monitor connected to the device's output I can hear playback fine but there is no direct monitoring. Is there some setting I need to be on? Sorry for all the questions, I'm new to this! Thanks for your help!

Most likely this was an issue with the "direct monitoring" tab. Either way, I'm glad you got it figured out.
