Hello All, I'm trying to set up Cubase SX on my pc, using Delta 1010LT, and i'm having some dramas. I'm not fantastic on computer programs and such, but have a basic understanding once i know what's going on - i think. I've got cubase and Delta installed - running audio in through a Behringer Eurorack UB2222FX Mixer, and so far i've got sound from the output lines of the card, but no sound through the computer external speakers. I can record on cubase (as in the timeline shows something has been recorded), but on playback there is no sound? none through either the ext pc speakers, or through the delta outputs. However, the click track plays through the pc speakers on playback, but no guitar sounds. The transport panel shows output signal when playing back. Where do i start looking? Is this version of cubase ok. or should i download a better version of cubase before i get stuck into it? I've done some reading of threads in this sub forum but didn't really find something that sounds like the probs i've got. Cheers Rob |

I've played more with, to no avail, yet. When playing back, the transport panel shows Audio Activity Channel 1 In and Out, the Midi out only shows the click track. Still trying. |

Ah! just got it. To be honest It was mostly a jokey post.. i hadn't looked into it enough to start asking advice. It was simply that (And i'm boggled as to why) the device port had not been set automatically on the master bus.. i'm confused as to why I could still hear the audition bus (I only just upgraded from sx2, so it's new to me). Cheers, though. Decent site you've got, here. I like the personal touches. |

I've just got mine working now - i ended up downloading the latest version delta driver - still didn't work, i simply didn't have the delta mixer settings right. The setting it's on now is in Output 1/2 out - set to 'sw rtn' - i guess that stands for software return?? Anyhow, i've got cubase and FL studio working and starting to have fun, got about 70% of my first song down, lot's more to come. Thanks for the replies. Rob |

hello i have similar problem, i've just gotten new computer(windows xp sp3) and took delta 1010lt out of the old one and put it in new, i also install drivers and set inputs/outputs. Problem is: when i record, there is no monitoring(i have direct monitoring on) and i can't playback files in cubase(i can play them in as audio files with other programs), i can see the waves of recorded files, but the meter of the track is not moving; i also tried projects recorded on my old computer, and here, there is no problem playing it, but when i import the files that are not in pool, there is no sound again. Anyone knows where is the problem? I already tried asio4all drivers(same problem), reinstall cubase and the drivers and turned off onboard card. |
