Cubase Studio 4 and Groove Agent 3

Hi!,

Need help from the guys:
1. I have already recorded a few midi tracks on CS4.
2. Now I want to "play" the drum parts via GA3 by using my midi keyboard.
3. I DO NOT want to use the pre-set drum beats/loops in GA3.
4. I just wanna use the keyboard as "the drum" and play the rythym myself.
5. Everytime I try to record when I hit the keyboard, the preset drum beat of GA3 will automatically come on!

I can't seem to find out how to turn it off.

Hope I stated my problem clear enough... if not, i'll be glad to elaborate further if only to get some professional help!

Well, I've never used Groove Agent 3, so I'm not really sure how to go about solving this. It sounds like your MIDI is triggering a loop of some kind.

I'd pull out the manual for this one because I'm really not sure.

No Worries! Thanks for replying!

By the way, Cubase 4.1 and Cubase Studio 4.1.0 is out! Just downloaded the enhancements and looks like its a big improvement with a lot of added features!

Particularly like their Track Arranger Function coz now you are sort of closer to being able to play live without having to get another prog like Abelton Live 6. For budget guys like me, its great!

You might wanna start a thread to find out more from the rest of the guys!
