Cubase LE4, Vista, PreSonus Audiobox : errors on ASIO driver selection

When I go to Device Setup >> VST Audio System to selct the ASIO driver, the USB Audiobox driver errors out when you select it, then defaults back to the previous driver selected. This results in no playback, no recording...a real silicon brick. I hear Vista hates certain drivers. Any help?

Can LE4 run on Vista? check Steinberg.

Also you have the latest driver downloaded and it supports Vista?

Vista 32? 64, forget it for sure.

I don't know, look at the web site.

A lot of different things, hardware/software are saying XP preferred, Vista 32 if you have to use Vista.

A lot of development going on, so not ready for prime time sort of deal, someday when it's all sorted out it will be great and all but till then lots are staying with what works.
