Hello. New to the forum. Just recieved a guitar processer (zoom g7). It comes with cubase le4. Do not know thing about music software. Is le4 fairly simple to use or is there some other software that would be easer for me to use. Ant help is appreciated. Thanks

Cubase LE4 is powerful..You won't outgrow it for a long time..There may be easier beginner software, but all software has a learning curve and what you learn using this software will be valuable for as long as you are recording. READ THE MANUAL.

Just a note if anyone wishes to use Cubase 4 and wish to use OMF file format Cubase Studio 4 does not support that format only Cubase 4 will support it.
I found this out due to purchasing Cubase Studio 4 and then having to work on a project exported from Sonar in omf and uploaded for me to import into Cubase Studio 4. Obviously i returned Cubase Studio 4 and waited for Cubase 4 to arrive.
This is one handy format to have if you work on projects that are going to be used from the diffrent daw softwares that support omf at diffrent destinations for laying down individual parts .
I also never blantley seen anything stated on format support between the two diffrent versions of Cubase 4 before purchasing it.
