I've been trying to do some ADR work with Cubase 4, importing the original video to use as a reference when I align the voiceover work. The video generally imports and plays back fine, but the quality is too low to easily distinguish the actor's mouth movements. I've tried switching to High Quality in the Quicktime onscreen window, but it makes the video lag and skip during playback, which doesn't make the job any easier. Has anyone else had this problem? It would be nice to avoid importing everything back into Premiere for fine-tuning. I'm currently running Windows x64, 6gb RAM, Cubase 4.5.2. Thanks! |

Premiere is great for video editing, but isn't great with audio. I'm just trying to use the video in Cubase to make sure the voiceover stuff is synced up visually as well as aurally. Then I would export the audio as a .wav and import the completed edit back into the Premiere project. Either way, I was just curious if anyone had any luck with the High Quality video settings. Thanks! |
