Default Crashing after recording a track LE4

every time I hit stop in record mode, i get a 'serious error has occurred' message and have to save as a new version and restart the programme every time.

HELP ANYONE??

First I'd make sure I had the lastest version of LE4. They release patches and stuff periodically. Second, I'd restart my computer. I'd try it again.

If the problem persists I'd try to find out where the problem is. Maybe disable your audio interface and try your stock soundcard just to see if the problem still occurs.

If that doesn't do it, it's most likely software related and I'll assume this is problem with a dirty operating system fighting with Cubase.

it could also be that you don't have your right and left markers set

Way back i had a cracked version of cubase and used to get the same messages. I have a few computers. The comp im using now is where it was first installed.And where i got the messages. Constantly if i might add. I took it to a brand new computer and did not get the messages.

So im guessing Brandons on the right path.

well my PC is only year old, as is the cubase. and its legit.

Hey thanks but can you instruct me how to do the above? and how do i rectify a drity op system?
I bought LE4 in March this year.

Just curious. What type of computer are you using ?

I'm not right by it at the moment but I think its 2G and its a Compaq Presario, Usng Vista Home premium ......
