Default clicking noise while using Nord Lead 2 in cubasae, Please Help

When I use a midi track and try to playback the notes that I've manually entered, I hear a clicking noise everytime a new note comes in.

Also I get the clicking noise everytime I try to adjust knobs and sliders on NL 2 while it is connected to Cubase through my midi interface.

However, I have tried to record an audiofile without hooking up my midi interface (MIDISPORT 2*2 aniv edition), the recording is fine, I am pressing the keys on Nord Lead and everything is recorded wihtout any clicks.

I am using Cubase SX 3 on Vista 32 (3GB ). the midi device is Nord Lead 2. the audio interface is USB Lexicon Alpha.

this is so far what I have tried:
-reinstalled all the drivers (for midi and audio interfaces)
-played with the buffer size, seems like this is not the latency problem.
-used different driver ASIO4ALL and Alpha ASIO
-terminated all unnecessary programs (no interned, no anti-virus, no nothing)

I have spent a great deal of time researching internet trying to find out if other people had the same problem.

Are there any Nord Lead 2 users who could share with their experiences with Cubase SX3, namely what MIDI and Audio Interfaces are used, or any suggestion. I was thinking to get a new midi interface (M-Audio Fast Pro Track hoping that this will solve the problem.

I am really having problems with my Nord and Cubase, It took me a week to fix the note shift issue in cubase (had to work with ignoreportfilter and other stuff).
And now I cannot figure out what the foook with this noise?

I greatly appreciate your help.
