Default Changing click track tone in Cubase

Hey all!

New member here with a question:

Is it possible to change the god-awful default click track in Cubase 4? If so, how?

That blip-blip-blip drives me insane.....

Thanks in advance,

Jeremy

Thanks for the reply, but in looking up the entry you referred to, that appears to be more for MIDI settings. I did try and adjust the MIDI note output but to no avail. I'm more wondering what the tone is generated from (i.e. wav file, etc) and if it can be changed to something like a woodblock....

You can snag any audio file you want. I find that that the beep is the best for cutting through a mix, but not the most fun to listen to. I don't remember how to do it from memory, unfortunately, but I know it's in the manual.

Have a look on the file menu. Transport - Metronome Setup. You change the note and velocity etc but does not appear the source file can be changed.
