Automation linking

Ok so I have an automation track setup to switch between amp chanels on amplitube. I was wondering could I link my midi footswitch on my keyboard to act like a stomp box to activate this automation on and off, so that I can songwrite freely without having to either click w/ my mouse or fade up and down with my fader?

It seems like no one knows the answer to this. My best GUESS is that you would need to setup your keyboard as a controller in the device setup window. Then (still guessing) you could assign the control of the footswitch? What version of Cubase are you using? My LE4 has a separate manual on Remote Control Devices with a section on "Writing Automation using Remote Controls".

I'm using 4 studio that I got from my friends dad and don't have the manuals

I switched back to LE. Studio was just to complicated and alot of the plugins were skrewy since I only got the CD for the program and not the addons so now it keeps crashing cause it can't find plugins that came in a package he got.
